On 19th March 2021, the IAPA Awards (International Awards of Powered Access) were conferred digitally for the first time. In the category “product of the year - vehicle-mounted”, the RUTHMANNSTEIGER® TB 300 won. The 3.5 t truck-mounted working platform offers a working height of 30 m for the first time. This was previously only possible on 7.5 t trucks. Therefore anyone having a simple driving license for class B can drive this innovative working platform.
The IAPA Awards were initially planned for 23rd April 2020 in London. Due to the Corona pandemic, they were postponed and took place on Thursday evening, 19th March 2021 via videoconference. Altogether 12 categories were awarded.
RUTHMANN, the working platform manufacturer from the Münsterland, Germany, was nominated in two categories. With the STEIGER® TB 300 in the category “product of the year - vehicle-mounted” and with the completely electric STEIGER® Ampero TBR 250 E for the “innovative technology award”.
The RUTHMANNSTEIGER® TB 300 won as “product of the year - vehicle-mounted”. Ruthmann’s Managing Director Rolf Kulawik and General Sales Manager Uwe Strotmann joined the online event live. “We are more than happy to bring home the award for the product of the year for the fifth time today”, reveals Rolf Kulawik.
