Gerken is currently the first supplier who has incorporated our bauma innovation, the new STEIGER ® T 510 HF into its equipment rental pool.
We have developed the brand-new T 510 HF, a truck-mounted working platform based on the worldwide very successful HEIGHT performance series. It features revolutionary, world-class performance specifications of 51 m working height and 33 m outreach on a 2-axle chassis. Such performance was previously possible only on a 3-axle chassis.
The ‘HF’ in the model name is the abbreviation for ‘highflex’. Under this terminology, we summarize the extraordinary, constructive developments in the field basket rotation angle and working basket rotation, offering the user a high degree of operational flexibility and freedom of movement. The maximum highflex basket rotation angle is 440 ° and the RÜSSEL ® / working basket rotation angle offers genuine 220 °. The operator can navigate very flexible not only at higher objects in connection with the unique basket design and the concept of a ‘standing working basket’.
Also entirely new possibilities are opened up in the underfloor area and in case of ‘up and over and back’-use.
Always at the cutting edge, Gerken offers its customers only first-class products and that in each platform class. According to Christian Gerken, we have proven ourselves as the reliable and innovative partner in the truck mounted aerial platforms segment. Overall, our new STEIGER ® highflex series comprises of four models. This includes among others the T 510 HF that Gerken chose and our T 570 HF. The latter STEIGER ® model was also presented at the bauma. It is designed for a truck chassis of the 26-ton class, and has 57 m working height and 41 m outreach. With the T 650 HF and the T 750 HF, which can be ordered immediately, the series/class is completed. Performance and carrier vehicle specifications have been announced. They will be presented to the public for the first time in October 2016.
