Easy handling also in the low-budget sector
When operating a truck-mounted aerial work platform, safety is, of course, the number-one priority. Operating efficiency and convenience are also gaining more and more attention.
At the APEX trade show in May 2017, we had the first-time opportunity to present our patented EASY Stabilizing System on a RUTHMANNECOLINE RS 240. The new stabilizing system captivated the many professional visitors each time it was demonstrated. The Easy Stabilizing System is highly efficient and easy to handle. The name says it all. This new user-friendly system maximizes overall efficiency and convenience at the job site.
The core concept of the EASY Stabilizing System is the hydraulic combination of two supports (at axle height) to one unit. All four vertical supports can be lowered to the ground with just three levers.
By activating just one lever, the rear support unit is evenly extended to balance the longitudinal tilt of the vehicle. The second lever is activated to level the vehicle sideways. By extending a vertical support at the front, the EASY Stabilizing System automatically engages the rear supports.
Until now, fully hydraulic support mechanisms required operators to manually align the vehicle horizontally, making sure that all four supports were lowered to the ground with wheels clear of the ground. With the EASY Stabilizing System, operators are able to position the vehicle much faster and start their assignments sooner.
