Alberto Piñeiro Lift (APL), which specialises in large truck-mounted work platforms in Spain with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, has expanded its fleet with a RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF with DRS technology.
This new 90-metre machine is already the third RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF that APL has added to its fleet of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, which now comprises a total of 13 units.
The 90-metre-high RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF work platform on a 500 hp SCANIA XT chassis stands out thanks to its dual concept: 1) Vertical mode: reaches a maximum height of 90 metres and 2) Horizontal mode: thanks to its impressive lateral reach of up to 42 metres, it is suitable for horizontal work or even for work in negative areas.
High-flex technology enables flexible ‘up-over-back’ operation thanks to the basket's 440° swivel and the boom's 220° swivel. The new unit also features the DRS system, which can be used to program different wind speeds, pressure settings on the stabilisers and different load capacities in the basket.
Alberto Piñeiro, managing director of the company, opted for this model once again after having been able to confirm and utilise the unique working diagram with the 2-in-1 configuration of the RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF and its versatility in all types of work over recent years. He also highlights the compact dimensions and flexibility of the T 900 HF's outriggers.
The experts at AMCO Machinery & Consulting, RUTHMANN's sales and service partner in Spain, supported and advised Albert Piñeiro Lift during the process of specifying and customising the machine. Regarding the technical service provided by AMCO/RUTHMANN, Alberto Piñeiro emphasises: ‘We are very satisfied with the constant availability of AMCO's technical service. They have very professional and competent electrical engineers. In addition, the spare parts supply is excellent: deliveries from the central warehouse never take longer than one working day.’
Albert Piñeiro Lift operates both nationally and internationally, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors, such as wind turbine maintenance and the construction and maintenance of large infrastructure projects. APL has offices in Galicia, Andalusia and the Valencia region.
