A highly symbolic action at a dizzying height: Together with our customer Begemann's Mietlift, the RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 570 HF was used to equip the Hermannsdenkmal in Detmold, Germany with an oversized DSC Arminia Bielefeld jersey. The spectacular campaign was initiated by the Bielefeld-based company Schüco - in honour of the cup final and the 50-year partnership with DSC Arminia.

Working at lofty heights required precise planning and maximum performance. With a working height of 57 metres, an outreach of up to 41 metres and a basket load of 600 kilograms, the RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 570 HF provided the perfect conditions for attaching the 9 metre high and 7.2 metre wide jersey safely and efficiently to the highest monument in Germany. The jersey was made from around 130 square metres of flag fabric and professionally installed with the help of the RUTHMANN Highflex aerial work platform.

The T 570 HF really comes into its own on a monument like the Hermann, where great heights go hand in hand with winding access routes: The upright workman basket enables ‘under and up’ operations, while the RÜSSEL® (jib), which can be used in the lowered position, offers a wide range of options for ‘up and over and back’. As a result, every area of the still image can be reached safely - without compromising on efficiency or safety.

‘We are delighted that our STEIGER® T 570 HF was able to make a contribution to this special event,’ says Christian Roß, Head of International Sales at Ruthmann Holdings GmbH. ‘As a technology partner, we are proud when our machines not only take on industrial tasks, but also become part of such symbolic moments.’

The Hermannsdenkmal now wears the Arminia jersey until the beginning of June - high above the Teutoburg Forest and visible from afar. A campaign that combines sporting enthusiasm, regional identity and technical excellence.
